Monitoring of Saskatchewan municipalities’ wastewater helps forecast COVID movements

February 24, 2022 By Ground Water Canada
Saskatoon – Coronavirus monitoring of the city’s wastewater is showing levels at their highest point over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Monitoring is also being done in North Battleford and Prince Albert by the University of Saskatchewan’s Global Institute for Water Security. The sampling of wastewater can help forecast an increase or decrease in positive cases a week to 10 days after they’ve been collected. CBC News report | READ MORE
