Mystery of Puslinch’s ‘rotting vegetable’ well water smell finally solved

Puslinch, Ont. – The mystery of smelly water coming from some local water wells – which has been compared to that of rotting vegetables – appears to have been solved. Odour-causing organics detected in untreated well water have been fingered as the root of the problem, according to the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.
