New water technology tested in Alberta as province poises for potential drought extension
Government has spent more than $75 million on technology

Calgary – As the spring and summer seasons are poised to further add to Alberta’s drought woes, the province is spending more than $75 million to help conserve, track and manage its water usage. The government spending includes water recycling technology that’s being tested at Calgary’s water treatment facilities. The technology is meant to find better ways to manage and conserve water.
