Open house to showcase one of the world’s largest water treatment facilities
Tour of Mississauga plant scheduled for Oct. 21

Mississauga, Ont. – An open house will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 to tour one of the world’s largest water treatment facilities.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can tour the Arthur P. Kennedy water treatment plant in Mississauga for a behind-the-scenes look at the plant’s operations.
The event is being held in recognition of Imagine a Day Without Water – an international day of action that raises awareness about the value of water as an essential and invaluable resource.
Visitors to the open house will learn how the facility treats and delivers 570 million litres of clean, safe and reliable drinking water every day to homes, schools and workplaces in Peel Region.
