Public access to drinking water amid unseasonably hot weather discussed for Gabriola, B.C.
Village core currently has no infrastructure in place for public to access drinking water

Gabriola, B.C. – Discussions have opened regarding public access to drinking water at Gabriola parks. Unseasonably hot weather has triggered the discussion. There is currently no drinking water infrastructure in the village core that can be accessed by the public. Talk of access to potable water at Huxley Community Park was conducted in May but, without existing connections at the park for potable water, it would need to be delivered.
