Waterloo, Ont. – Sheri Longboat is an associate professor of geography and environmental studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, whose research focuses on water security and management with a priority toward practical solutions to needs identified by First Nations in Indigenous communities. Herself a Haudenosaunee, Six Nations woman and a graduate of the university, her work includes national water concerns in First Nations communities.
