Rural Manitobans fear drinking water contamination if mining project proceeds

Winnipeg – Rural residents living near Winnipeg fear contamination of their drinking water as an Alberta-based mining company wishes to drill more than 7,000 wells to extract millions of tonnes of sand from an aquifer.
