Still no explanation for Sachs Harbour, N.W.T.’s drinking water contamination

Sachs Harbour, N.W.T. – Although a do-not-consume advisory has been lifted in some areas of the community, its drinking water is still deemed unsafe for many others. There is still no explanation for what initiated the advisory that went into effect on March 23 when the smell of fuel and an oily sheen were detected in water deliveries.
