Water demand in Alberta expected to increase, say university water research officials

Alberta – Water use in Canada is generally declining, experts from the University of Alberta’s water research centre say, but it’s expected the demand for water will increase in parts of Alberta. This is due to increased temperatures, population growth and the want for more irrigation. Researchers from the centre are trying to determine what water demands will look like going forward.
