Alberta creates water committee to prepare for and respond to ongoing periods of drought
Province experiencing below normal snowpacks, record low river levels

Alberta – The province has created a Water Advisory Committee to prepare for what may be further drought. Environment and Protected Areas Minister Rebecca Schulz says Western Canada is experiencing a warm and dry winter with a below average snowpack and rivers at record low levels.
