New York – The regional chief for Manitoba of the Assembly of First Nations will be addressing the United Nations 2023 Water Conference this week about water rights of Indigenous people in Canada. Cindy Woodhouse is expected to touch upon the UN’s goals for sustainable development, keying in on the goal for clean water and sanitation. She said access to clean drinking water is a human right.
