B.C.’s opposition parties calling for another groundwater licensing deadline extension

Victoria, B.C. – The province’s Liberal and Green parties are calling for another extension to British Columbia’s approaching groundwater licensing deadline, suggesting a crisis is looming for farmers and small businesses. The licensing deadline is March 1, but less than a quarter of the province’s estimated 20,000 water users have so far applied.
