Boil-water advisory issued for Williams Lake, B.C. after cracking in main

Williams Lake, B.C. – A precautionary boil-water advisory has been issued for the city.
The advisory comes after an upstream main cracked during replacement work on the Hodgson Road water main. The advisory was issued due to the length of time expected for repairs to be made.
Before the advisory can be lifted, Interior Health must be satisfied with the results of lab-tested samples.

Residents are advised to boil their water for two minutes prior to brushing their teeth, cooking and making ice.
