Calgary setting up strategically placed water stations in city to help beat the heat
Stations include drinking fountains, bottle filling and overhead misting

Calgary – Six temporary water stations are being installed throughout the city in high pedestrian traffic areas to help people and pets beat the heat.
The structures include drinking fountains – one for people and another for pets – a bottle-filling station and overhead misting. Each is attached for fire hydrants for water supply.
The water stations are meant to help city residents enjoy their summer in a safe manner, with water available in strategic locations.
The stations are to be installed in the coming days and will remain in place until mid-September, weather permitting. The stations were intended to be installed earlier this year, but were delayed by supply chain issues.
