Collingwood, New Tecumseth reach out to other governments to help pay for plant expansion

Collingwood, Ont. – The municipalities of Collingwood and New Tecumseth say they’re going to need financial assistance to help pay for the expansion of their water treatment plant. The lowest bid for the needed work came in at $212 million, but it’s estimated the price tag will actually be about $270 million. The original cost was anticipated to be about $120 million.
