Directive given to begin investigation in Bayfield, Ont. into illegal sewer connections

Bayfield, Ont. – Municipal staff will be inspecting private and public properties and homes in the area that have illegally been connected to the sewer system. An investigation launched in recent years found about half the water flowing through Bayfield’s sewer system comes from groundwater and stormwater inflow.
