Drinking water in Waterloo Region would be threatened by Bill 162’s passing, report claims
Less water would be available for municipal aquifers

Waterloo, Ont. – New development in parts of southwest Kitchener would threaten drinking water supplies for current and future residents of the area, a staff report from the Region of Waterloo states. The development of 642 acres of land will be permitted if the Ontario government passes Bill 162.
