B.C. village declares state of emergency amid continuing drought in province
Low flows experienced at water system's supply creek

McBride, B.C. – As the province continues to deal with ongoing drought, a local state of emergency has been declared in McBride, a village located about 180 kilometres southeast of Prince George. Low flows are being experienced at Dominion Creek which supplies the McBride Community Drinking Water System. Water usage restrictions have consequently been mandated, prohibiting vehicle washing, filling swimming pools and watering lawns. CBC News report | READ MORE
