Drought levels in Okanagan Valley dropping, but some areas are still struggling
Some groundwater stations showing below normal levels

Kelowna, B.C. – The Okanagan Basin Water Board notes recent rain events in the region have helped reduce the local drought level to 2 from 5, but adds there are still parts of the Okanagan Valley that continue to struggle. Some local creeks are still experiencing low flows while some metered groundwater stations indicate levels are still below normal, keeping drought levels at a higher number.
