Groundwater group fears it has lost council’s support in fight against proposed gravel pit

Kitchener, Ont. – A citizens’ group advocating for safe groundwater fear Wilmot Township council has switched its allegiance in the fight against a proposed gravel pit. The Citizens for Safe Groundwater has been fighting the pit plan for several years, and thought it had the backing of council.
