Hay River flooding leads to boil-water advisory issued for four N.W.T. communities

Hay River, N.W.T. – Heavy flooding in Hay River has prompted the territory’s department of health and social services to issue a boil-water advisory for the town and neighbouring communities. It’s feared that power outages and other issues may have prevented the drinking water supply from being disinfected before distribution.
