Overhaul proposed for historic Waterloo pumping station, consolidating city’s pumping activities

Waterloo – An historic pumping station in the city’s downtown, which continues distributing drinking water drawn from underground wells, is being proposed to undergo changes. The proposal before city council is to consolidate all pumping activities to another sector and turn the historic area into a new public space.
