Repaired pipeline break, safe reservoir levels end local state of emergency in Cochrane

Residents still being urged to conserve water

Cochrane, Alta. – The town has lifted its state of emergency following repairs made to a broken water pipe that led to a recent sewage spill. Additionally, Cochrane’s water reservoirs have returned to safe levels although not quite where they would normally be. Residents are still being urged to conserve water.
