Researchers find water pollutant nitrate enhances groundwater purification

Researchers from the Water Resources Cycle Research Center have learned that nitrate – a known pollutant – enhances the natural purification of groundwater. Their research is expected to be a key point in the water quality management strategy of aquifer storage recovery systems.
