Researchers pose solutions to help restore dwindling global groundwater levels
Methods difficult to execute, but still offer hope

While there are parts of the world where groundwater aquifers are drying up at alarming rates – including Iran and Arizona – groundwater levels are recovering in other parts of the world, according to a recent study published in Nature. Researchers have identified policies that can prevent water tables from failing and have presented the means to restore them.
