Researchers say Canada lagging behind U.S. in setting PFAS limits in drinking water
Canada's limits are 150 times higher than those in U.S.

While the United States has set limits on the levels of forever chemicals in drinking water, Canada is lagging behind in following suit, researchers say. Forever chemicals, or PFAS, have been found in Canadian drinking water and freshwater sources, states Health Canada which proposed PFAS limits in drinking water a year ago. The agency is being asked if it plans to follow the U.S.’s lead for set limits which is 150 times lower than Canada’s. CTV News report | READ MORE
