Report finds PFAS has contaminated drinking water at about 245 U.S. military bases

PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” are polluting the drinking water at about 245 military bases in the United States, according to a Depart of Defence report. The number might be higher as only about a third of the country’s bases have been investigated. The report doesn’t indicate which drinking water sources are contaminated nor the PFAS levels.
