About 90 per cent of eligible First Nations residents have filed claim in class action settlement

Thunder Bay, Ont. – With the deadline for First Nations residents wishing to file a claim for compensation over unsafe drinking water looming, about 90 per cent of eligible persons have already done so. First Nations residents who have been subjected to long periods under drinking water advisories have until March 7 to file claim in the First Nations Drinking Water Class Action Settlement.
