Boil-water advisory in Ontario towns not expected to last as long as treatment plant repairs

Recent fire at Wheatley water treatment plant has led to advisory, now a week long

Wheatley, Ont. – It could be a year or longer before the town’s water treatment plant returns to normal operations following a recent fire at the facility. Residents of Wheatley and nearby Tilbury in the Chatham-Kent region have since been subjected to a boil-water advisory for the past week.
