Drinking water in Ottawa-area communities shows high concentrations of sodium
Haley's Station's water reached 65.5 milligrams of sodium per litre

Ottawa – High sodium levels have been reported in the drinking water in the communities of Beachburg and Haley’s Station. The Renfrew County and District Health Unit note that any levels above 20 milligrams of sodium per litre must be reported. Based on tests taken in January, sodium levels in Haley’s Station’s water reached 65.5 milligrams of sodium per litre while 24.7 milligrams of sodium per litre were reported in Beachburg’s water.
