Guelph to spend upwards of a quarter billion dollars to explore new water sources
Sources needed to meet city's growth

Guelph, Ont. – The city is looking to spend about $222 million over the next 30 years to ensure it has sufficient water for its growing needs. City council has approved a number of staff suggestions to find new water supply sources and to reduce water demand. Development charges and user fees are expected to fund the projected $222 million.
