Non-use advisory of water in Laval district ends, allowing safe consumption again
Advisory was triggered after suspicion of firefighting chemical impact

Montreal – Water in the Sainte-Dorothée district of Laval, Que. is now safe to drink again. A non-use advisory had been issued earlier this week, notifying residents not to use municipal water for any purpose other than toilet flushing. Water contamination was suspected to be caused by a chemical used by firefighters during an intervention on Tuesday.
