Ontario First Nation residents return to their homes after running water restored

About 700 residents were forced to evacuate after water treatment plant fire triggered state of emergency

Thunder Bay, Ont. – Residents of the Eabametoong First Nation are returning to their homes for the first time in three weeks following the return of running water in the community. A state of emergency had been declared after fire broke out at the community’s water treatment plant in early July.
