Osoyoos, B.C. – Town council has been taking a hard look at where it’s to be drawing its water moving forward. Construction of a new groundwater treatment plant has been estimated at $61.5 million while a plant that treats water drawn from Osoyoos Lake is nearly $10 million cheaper. Staff has recommended the construction of a plant to treat lake water, anticipating work could begin by the fall of 2025. Penticton Herald report | READ MORE
