Proposed Alberta cattle operation could jeopardize ground, surface water at Pigeon Lake: citizens group

Edmonton – Concerned about potential ground and surface water contamination, Albertans living near Pigeon Lake have expressed their opposition to a proposed large-scale livestock operation southwest of here. Not only are local citizens concerned about the potential impact on the ecosystem, they fear their property values could significantly diminish if such an operation is to proceed.
