Resumption of fluoride in Calgary’s water system to nearly triple the cost

Calgary – The cost of fluoride resumption in the city’s water supply is going to be much higher and likely won’t be implemented until September 2024. The cost of resuming fluoridation is now expected to be $28.1 million – up from the $10.1 million originally estimated in 2021.
