Tentative $10.3-billion settlement in PFAS case reached by 3M, U.S. water systems
Company has not admitted liability in contamination case

A tentative $10.3-billion settlement between 3M and several water systems in the United States over water pollution claims associated with PFAS, or “forever chemicals.” The settlement would be spanned over a 13-year period and would represent the largest drinking water settlement in the country’s history.
