Iqaluit, Nunavut – Although its water issues are still ongoing, the City of Iqaluit is not at risk of a water shortage before the pumping season begins, the municipality’s chief administrative officer says. Its water supply continues to be “strained,” but emergency declarations that had been previously made can likely be avoided, Amy Elgersma says.
