Thousands of U.S. water utilities required to upgrade treatment methods to battle PFAS

New regulations are being enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency that will require thousands of water utilities in the United States to upgrade their treatment methods as a means of freeing drinking water from “forever chemicals” or PFAS.
