Ban of non-essential water usage issued for communities surrounding Edmonton
Water treatment plant equipment failure triggers ban

Edmonton – A non-essential-use water ban was issued earlier this week for communities surrounding Edmonton following an equipment failure at one of the city’s two water treatment plants. Affected communities include Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Stony Plain, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, Fort Saskatchewan and Morinville.
