Fuel spill in Sturgeon Lake triggers drinking water advisory in Kawartha Lakes, Ont.

About 30 homes are impacted by the spill

Kawartha Lakes, Ont. – A drinking water advisory has been issued for the city following a fuel spill last week in Sturgeon Lake. The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit issued the advisory after fuel odours were reported in a culvert about 20 kilometres from Lindsay.
